2015 Vinylize Sun Collection – Vinylize Eyewear

2015 Vinylize Sun Collection

Vinylize introduces Sunglasses Remastered.

After a years of keeping our sun design and production on ice, we are finally releasing a 30 piece collection.

To commemorate the event, each order comes with a custom made decorative box which houses 10 frames.

The selection has been carefully curated to feature classics, reinterpretations and new creations. A few such as Pausz and Puff were old favorites, designed years ago, and still in demand.

Their unique shape rendered them indespensable. Some have been taken from recent optical collections.

"A" Design Award" winner Toney along with his sibling are more in the spirit of a sunframe.

Jackson, Corbusier and Lionel just look great as both.

All are ideal candidates for transition lenses.

The ultimate classic, which has always been popular as both a sun frame and optical is also available with Vinylize as Corbusier.

Nick, David and Roger were originally available in the Limited Edition Pink Floyd Capsule collection.

They sold out so quickly that we decided to remake the shapes as black Vinylize.
The lions share of the collection however is new. We really pushed the boundaries to make bold frames with stunning grooves. Rim thickness on occasion will reach 6mm.
7 of the 30 are fitted with double layer stainless steel temples.

The inner layer is powder coated black to insulate it from contact with skin and to accentuate the brushed finish of the outer layer.

Extra long temples of 154mm are available on select models (Tosh, Goode and Wolf, Holt and Simmons).
All frames are built with Italian rivet hinges.

The thinner temples are fitted with 3 barrel hinges and the thicker temples with 5 barrel hinges.
All of the frames are fitted with Zeiss gradient UV400 lenses, and of course you can also fit them with your prescription at your nearest Vinylize dealer.
Each frame is accompanied by our new case which is laser cut from a 12" album. 3 cases can be made per vinyl.

Velvety nubuck is riveted to the inside and a snap button keeps the frame from falling out. A golden Vinylize logo is heat stamped into each corner.
