Vinylize remasters alt-J’s “This is all Yours”

Our Sziget backstage project continues apace tonight with British headliner alt-J coming to the main stage. For their one-of-a-kind Sziget 'box set', we will be presenting the boys with a customized pair of frames made from their second album, "This is All Yours". We love this album not only because it sounds great, but also because it was released as two colored vinyl discs, with the colours chosen at random from four alternatives - red, green, blue and orange.

The copy we received arrived in green and red, so we went for the green. Along with Ellie Goulding's white frames, this is the only Vinylize 'box set' made from colored vinyl.

We think the guys will really like the beautiful green frames we have created for them. But it wasn't enough to just cut out the green vinyl and box them up, we also put some work into designing frames that frontman Joe Newman might actually wear.

We went for a squarer design that would suit Newman's rounder face and softer features.

Chunky, thicker rims also look great on men with beards, so we think this shape will be a hit with Joe. We can barely wait until tonight to find out!
