Vinylize remaster Florence and the Machine's "Ceremonials" for Sziget Festival

As a part of our collaboration with Sziget Festival, we are creating custom frames for all of the headline acts. On Tuesday, it's the turn of Florence + the Machine to take to the stage at Europe's biggest and best festival – and be shown the frames we have lovingly crafted from Florence Welch's own vinyl.

These are the most exceptionally designed and crafted frames we have ever made. We put a lot of thought into making sure they match Florence's signature look. When we set about making frames, we already knew that Florence likes wearing sunglasses and favors more rounded designs in keeping with her Bohemian style.

Vinylize head designer Simon reckons designing frames for Florence was the polar opposite of creating a design for Robbie Williams. “Florence's elegant Bohemian style is immediately recognizable, yet tough to pin down due to her wide range of influences. Florence's style can be described as romantic and elegant, and although it combines a wide variety of influences, it is always spiced with a touch of the melancholy.”

We played with dozens of designs, but it soon became obvious that it was a case of the rounder the better. Once we had settled on the rounded shape, we wanted to add a little extra flourish to make the look complete. “Florence's flamboyant, yet elegant style heavily influenced our design process, including the choice of colors and materials. In this unique design, the darkness of the black vinyl is brought to the fore by the delicate curve of the gold-plated metal reinforcement over the bridge.”

The gold plated temples feature spring hinges and custom designed acetate temple tips which are secured by screws. The five barrel hinges add unparalleled comfort and elegance. The finished work of art is packaged in an exclusive box showcasing the vinyl it was made from.

The frame, named "Ceremonials" will be available from November of 2015.
