The poster was designed by Zachary Tipton and Bettina Gál. "I was visiting Dr. Dave of Urban Optics in San Luis Obispo, one of our top clients and he had an eye chart that featured chairs. It dawned on me that we need a Vinylize version!" says Zack on where the inspiration came from.

The copyrighted poster features 26 existing turntable models and include Crosley (sponsor of the RSD event), Uturn, Pro-ject, Tesla, and Gramovox among many others. The key which reveals the make of each turntable can be downloaded from Vinylize.

The poster is based on the Snellen eye chart developed in 1862 and named after the Dutch ophthalmologist Herman Snellen.

Record Store Day is an annual event inaugurated in 2007 and held on one Saturday every April to "celebrate the culture of the independently owned record store". The day brings together fans, artists, and thousands of independent record stores across the world. A number of records are pressed specifically for Record Store Day, with a unique list of releases for each country, and are only distributed to shops participating in the event.

If you want to recycle your vinyl, why don't exchange it for a pair of Vinylize? Check out THE VINYL EXCHANGE program.
